Stay at Quito historic center hotels is a nice option to feel the complete city spirit, you can't imagine the night landscape at Quito churches, monuments and more. But as always in life, some points are very important to know, ir order to prevent any problem. The Quito historic center is safe in the morning when the local police is doing her work, if you stay at recommended areas, but at night is not a good idea to walk alone, so always walk in group and if it's possible ask your hotel about the safe areas at night. Until 8h30 or 9h00 pm is a good schedule to walk in the Quito's historic center.
